Samsung Wave s8500 - A brief review

“Wow, what’s what?” is a question I am constantly bombarded with the instant anybody comes into contact with my Samsung S8500 Wave.

The slim yet sturdy brushed aluminum case, with curves in all the right places, gives those holding the Samsung Wave a sense they are in possession of a quality device. This is before the 3.3” Super AMOLED display lights up. It is sharp, vibrant and extremely bright, leaving no room for doubt that this is indeed, a very special phone.
The Wave utilises Samsungs new mobile operating system, Bada OS. Simple to operate and yet complete with a plethora of features sure to keep the more tech-savvy occupied. I found the menus to be responsive and well organized.

The Wave, as with all Bada devices, has access to the Samsung App store. Although not yet as complete as on other platforms there are already hundreds of fun, and admittedly addictive games and applications, with many more to follow.

My only regret is not buying an iPhone so people would stop noticing it!
